I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degrees in mathematics and economics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick. I am passionate about teaching mathematics and I enjoy the challenge of helping my students thoroughly understand the concepts with which they are struggling. I first began tutoring in college. I worked with students in grades 6-12 at local public and charter schools. I am completely confident in my ability to tutor students in all math related fields in K-12. I currently tutor algebra 1 & 2, English, calculus 1, elementary school math, differential equations, business, middle school math, pre-calculus, microeconomics, pre-algebra, AP calculus AB, macroeconomics, algebra 3/4, geometry, and public speaking. My tutoring methodology relies heavily on repetition to ensure a concept is fully mastered before moving on to the next challenge. This is more important in mathematics than perhaps any other subject because of the way math concepts build upon themselves. If one fails to fully master one of the earlier concepts it can be impossible to master those encountered later on. While repetition may not be one of the most exciting ways to learn these concepts, it is one of the most effective. However, that doesn't mean it can't be fun! I work to ensure all lessons are accessible and engaging for my students.
