I have taught and tutored students in first through eight grades for over 30 years. Math and reading are my primary subjects. Over the years, I've developed many strategies for students to learn and remember various academic skills. These include a few methods and tricks that can aid in their success. My love for teaching, my patience, and experience make me the ideal tutor. I can provide enrichment or remediation; regardless, phrases like "That's it?" or "That's easy!" still put a smile on my face. My goal is the same as the parent's; for the child to progress in their subjects and also become more confident and comfortable with school in general.I can help with elementary math, reading, grammar and mechanics, and phonics plus ISEE and SSAT standardized exams.I attended Brooklyn College and live in Monroe Township, New Jersey. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, home decorating, keeping up with current events, and spending time with my family and friends.
